Prominent Business Figures Unite at Networking Event Hosted by Mark Jaffe to Explore Dubai's Economic Landscape

International Networking Event at Chart House Welcomes Global Delegates

The Commerce and Industry Association of New Jersey (CIANJ) recently hosted an International Networking Event at the Chart House, New Jersey, drawing an impressive gathering of over 100 delegates from worldwide Chambers of Commerce and Trade Missions. Key participants included Ali Kocak, President, with board members Memis Yetim and Ziya Erdemir from the Turkish American Chamber of Commerce and Industry (TACCI).

The event was enriched by the presence of Turkish trade attaches Filiz Koseyener, Bilgehan Ramazan Caner, and Osman Nuri Gökbulut, alongside the Honorable Alsion Wilson, Consul General of Jamaica to New York. Prominent organizations such as United Airlines, the Economic Development Authority, and the CFO of the American Dream, Ms. Adi Adair, as well as academic representatives from Fairleigh Dickinson and Felician University, were part of this diverse assembly.

Organized under the leadership of CIANJ President Anthony Russo and his team, this networking event served as a pivotal platform for fostering international trade relations and creating valuable business connections across the globe.

The 64th Anniversary Gala organized by the Korean American Association of Greater New York (KAAGNY)

 

Highlighted the deep and enduring relationship between Türkiye and Korea, a connection rooted in ancient history. The Turkish people have long supported Korean statehood, demonstrating a commitment that stretches through the ages.

To enhance and explore new business opportunities, Ali Kocak, President of the Turkish American Chamber of Commerce and Industry (TACCI), held discussions on potential collaborations with James Kim, Chairman of the Korean American Chamber of Commerce USA (KACCUSA), and Mark Jaffe, President of the Greater New York Chamber of Commerce, during this celebratory event.

The gala was graced by the presence of many distinguished guests, including Mayor Eric Adams, Congressman Andy Kim and Congresswoman Grace Meng of the U.S. House of Representatives, Manhattan Borough President Mark Levine, Kwang Suk Kim, President of the Korean American Association of Greater New York, James S. Council of Forensic Medicine in Turkey

 

TACCI President Dr. Ali Kocak was invited by Dr. Hızır Aslıyürek, the President of the Council of Forensic Medicine in Turkey, to present at the 18th International Forensic Medicine Days.

Dr. Kocak discussed the Federal Rules for Expert witness system in the United States, the causes of wrongful conviction and unreliable scientific evidence as well as the Forensic Education system in the US.

Discover Global Markets Europe and Eurasia Reception

TACCI President Ali Kocak and Vice President John Driscoll and members Deniz Kocak and Ali Ince participated in the Discover Global Markets Europe and Eurasia reception, which is part of the U.S. Department of Commerce's annual flagship event series for U.S. exporters. The reception was held on September 12th, attended by U.S. companies that are looking to do business in Europe and Eurasia and by U.S. commercial diplomats and industry experts from U.S. Embassies in the region.

Turkuaz restaurant also participated in catering for the event and is recognized by the US department of Commerce for its excellence.

On March31st TACCI President Ali Kocak and Board members attended an iftar dinner in the honor of the first lady of Turkey, Emine Erdogan, organized by the Turkish American Steering Committee TASC.

President Ali Kocak and members of the Turkish American Chamber of Commerce and Industry (TACCI) participated in a fundraising event for Westchester County Mayor and the President of Black Mayors Association Shawyn Patterson-Howard.

Among the participants were Mayor Derek Armstead of Linden, Councilman Alfred Mohammed, former assistant attorney general of New York Lauren Raysor, Deputy Commissioner Hediye Mamak and many pioneer business people.

KAGIDAR_TACCI MEETING

On March 7th, 2023 the Turkish American Chamber of Commerce and Industry (TACCI) organized a successful networking event bringing together its members with the delegation of the Turkish Women Entrepreneurs Association (KAGIDER) in New York.

At the event held at Turkuaz Restaurant, the KAGIDER delegation, consisting of nearly 30 women entrepreneurs from different business sectors, had the opportunity to exchange information with TACCI members and evaluate possible business opportunities.

Welcome Reception
Since its establishment, TACCI has been playing an important role to increase the business relations between Turkey and the United States as well as between its members. To further enhance the investment opportunities and help businesses to partnerships, TACCI holds regular networking meetings and events in order to ensure that the vision and mission stipulated by the organization are followed.

On Thursday, November 21, 2019 TACCI held a welcome reception to bring the old and new members and friends together. The reception was held at the Chart House, Weehawken, NJ. About 100 guests attended the event.

On June 27th 2019, TACCI president Ali Koçak met with delegate visiting from Cizre Chamber of Commerce in Turkey. During the meeting Dr. Koçak discussed business and investment opportunities in the United States explaining the required regulations.
The president of Cizre Chamber of Commerce Mr. Salih Sefinc thanked Dr. Koçak for his hospitality and presented to him a plaque and a book on the history of Cizre for the memory of this visit.
The members of the delegate showed a great interest in doing business in the United States.

On October 17th 2019, TACCI president  Ali Kocak and  board members Mayor Tayfun Selen, Dr. Halil Mutlu and Cafer Kahyaoglu participated as a host comittee  in the cocktail reception honoring New Jersey Assemblywoman Bettylou, NJ Assemblyman Anthony Buco and Morris County Sheriff Jamis Ganmon.
